1 Thess 4:1

Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more.

The heart we want to develop is one that hungers for God. More often, more faithfully, and more consistently—from our daily activities to how we support and connect with family and friends.

Excel still more is a call to do better. A call for a spiritual journey filled with effort, growth, and progress that points towards Him. It's a call for spiritual excellence. When we excel at what's right, we grow; when we excel even more, we grow even more.
