What Man Meant for Evil, God Meant for Good (Genesis 50:20)

We have the blessing of serving a perfect God.  Isn’t it amazing how Jesus was tempted and tried, yet He lived a sinless life?  He has the insight to be able to comfort us and guide us because He knows what we’re going through and what we are experiencing on this earth.  Sometimes it is hard to believe that He is there because something bad happens in our life or we get discouraged about something.  We have to remember that He is always with us.  He is always turning every situation and bringing good from it, even the worst situations.  There is an old hymn called “It is Well”.  This hymn was written by a man as he stood on a boat in the same place where his family was killed in a shipwreck.  The words say something like this, “no matter the lot God has taught me to say it is well, it is well with my soul”.  How incredible are those words?  Would you be able to say “it is well with my soul” if you lost everything you had in this life?  What consumes your heart?  Christ talks about anxiety in Matthew 6.  If we are anxious about our lives or the situations we are in, are we really trusting in the Lord?  Are we really giving our lives to Him?  Trust in Him that no matter the situation or the trial you are going through, He has a plan, a perfect plan.  What man meant for evil, God meant for good.
