Lost and Found

What another great day here at camp! We started the day off right with some delicious breakfast tacos. Papa Bear talked to us about 4:29 at Jump Start today. 4:29 comes from Ephesians 4:29, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” We like to keep each other accountable when we speak to make sure we are not rude or say hurtful things.

Today we played on the inflatable water slides and made beautiful canvas in arts and crafts. More campers had their chance to climb the vertical playground. For swim time, the boys went down to the river and the girls stayed up at the pool. It was nice refresher to cool down in the water after our day of activities!

For dinner we had a BBQ meal donated by the kind and generous Cody Goss of Goss Pest Control! It was a delicious meal and we cannot thank him enough! After dinner we sang our praises at Team Meeting. Papa Bear reassured us that we are saved from our sins because Jesus died on the cross for us. All we have to do is believe!

We noticed that at end of Team Meeting that some our counselors and leadership staff were missing. We recruited the campers to help us find them! But they had to be stealthy and silent. When they found the missing counselors they received a popsicle stick and a certain number of points based on the level of difficulty. Every missing staff member was found by all the cabins. It was a successful mission!

We are excited to see what Friday has in store for us!
